2. Products and Availability

  • Our offerings include handcrafted terrariums, paludariums, freshwater aquariums, aquatic plants, live fish, shrimp, snails, and accessories.
  • Product images are for illustration; items may vary due to their handmade and natural/living nature.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products without prior notice.

3. Ordering and Payment

  • Orders must be placed through our secure online store.
  • Payment must be completed in full before any item is shipped.

4. Live Animal Policy

  • We package all live fish, shrimp, and snails with great care.
  • A Live Arrival Guarantee applies only for deliveries within approved metro areas via our designated couriers.
  • Claims for DOA (Dead on Arrival) livestock must be submitted within 2 hours of delivery, including clear, time-stamped photographs.
  • We are not liable for livestock losses due to customer tank conditions, cycling errors, or improper acclimation.

5. Shipping and Delivery

  • Delivery is available throughout South Africa.
  • Live animals are delivered only to areas where safe transit is possible.
  • Shipping costs and estimated delivery timeframes are provided at checkout.
  • Customers will receive a tracking number once the order is dispatched.

6. Returns and Refunds

Dry Goods:

  • Returns accepted within 7 days of delivery for unused items in original condition.
  • Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility unless the product is incorrect or faulty.

Live Animals and Plants:

  • No returns accepted.
  • Refunds/replacements are offered only if DOA claims meet the Live Arrival Guarantee terms.

7. Custom Builds

  • Custom aquarium and terrarium projects require a 50% upfront deposit.
  • Deposits are non-refundable once production has started.
  • Full payment is required before collection or delivery.

8. Customer Responsibility

  • Customers are expected to research and maintain appropriate tank conditions for any livestock purchased.
  • We provide general care guides, but successful long-term care depends on the customer’s setup and ongoing maintenance.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for indirect losses, damages, or harm caused by misuse or misapplication of our products.
  • Once an item is delivered, care and risk transfer to the customer.

10. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Customer information is used strictly for processing orders, communication, and internal marketing (if opted in).

We do not share or sell personal information to third parties.
